Built from inside the system.
Made available outside it.
Strength and Conditioning Academy was founded to take what I learned inside the UK high-performance system and make it available to practitioners without the privilege of being on the other side of the door.
Knowledge inside the system
is usually kept inside the system.
The gap between knowing and doing is the work.
Twenty-three years inside elite sport, fifteen of them at the top of the UK Olympic and Paralympic programmes. I’ve built and led S&C teams, shaped the practitioner pathways behind them, and spent plenty of time figuring out what actually works when the stakes are real.
The gap I kept seeing was consistent. Graduates finishing sports-science degrees with first-class knowledge but no framework for deploying it. Experienced coaches plateauing because the next layer of learning was locked behind institutional access. Good practitioners treating the non-technical side of the job as a secondary discipline.
I started the Academy to close that gap — credibly, accessibly, and without watering down what made the work worth doing in the first place.
Credible.
Accessible.
Seriously delivered.
The working brief for everything I make.
One founder. 23 years inside elite sport.
“I found the course really good for consolidating my knowledge and taking a better approach to solving problems , using underpinning science, testing and monitoring to aid the decision-making process.”
