How we look after your personal information.

This Privacy Notice explains how Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited (“Strength and Conditioning Academy” “SCA” “we” or “us”) looks after your personal information. We have a responsibility to ensure it is held and processed securely and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK GDPR and all associated legislation.

1. What information do we collect and why?

We collect the following information:

If you subscribe to Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited mailing list, we collect your name and email address in order to email updates and details of future events and experiences to you. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing: Admin@StrengthConditioning.Academy.

If you fill out the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message so that we can respond to your enquiry.

If you attend a Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited event (in person or virtually), meet with us, talk to us on the phone or if you are referred to us by a third party, we may collect contact details, such as your email address, telephone number, job title and organisation, and any information you choose to share with us. We collect this information in order to communicate with you and to provide our services.

If you are a client or supplier, we hold billing information.

We use Vercel Web Analytics on this website, configured in cookieless mode. It collects anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is used (which pages are viewed, which forms are submitted) without setting any cookies and without storing personally identifiable information. We do not use Google Analytics.

Because we set no non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site.

We collect the above information directly from you, from third parties who refer you to us, and from anonymous, aggregated analytics data collected by Vercel Web Analytics.

2. What are our legal grounds for processing this information?

Consent – when you subscribe to Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited, you consent to us processing your information for the purpose of providing you with content you may find relevant, including updates of Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited services and events.

Legitimate Interests – to provide subscribers to Strength and Conditioning Academy Limited relevant content; to respond to enquiries; to provide, improve and develop our services; to contact you about events; to develop business relationships; to identify and advance new business opportunities; to help us evaluate and develop our marketing strategy; to understand how people are using our website and interacting with its contents.

3. Sharing data

We may share information with third parties who provide services to us, such as accountants, lawyers and designers. We only provide them with the information they need in order to deliver the specific service. They are not permitted to use that information for any other purpose. We may also share information with other third parties if required and permitted by law.

The named third-party processors we use today are:

  • Drip (getdrip.com) — our email-marketing platform. When you request Lesson 1 via the sign-up form, your first name, surname and email address are sent directly to Drip so it can send you the lesson and any follow-up content you have opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email Drip sends, or by emailing us.
  • Vercel Web Analytics (vercel.com/analytics) — our website analytics provider. It receives anonymous, aggregated usage data only (page paths, anonymous event names such as contact_form_submitted) and sets no cookies. No personal information is sent to Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Resend (resend.com) — the service that delivers the contact-form email to our inbox. The information you submit on the contact form (name, email, subject, message) is transmitted via Resend in order to reach us.

4. Data storage and retention

We look after your information on our own hard drives and data storage systems. We also use third party tools, such as cloud storage and email marketing software. We will retain your data for as long as you agree to receive marketing from us (you can opt out at any time) or for as long as we have a legitimate interest in retaining it.

5. Your rights

Below are your rights in relation to your information. You can:

  • ask for copies of your information
  • request rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data
  • object to processing of your data
  • request erasure of your personal data
